Uniform Information
At Māngere College, our uniform represents pride, belonging, and respect for our kura. Wearing the correct uniform helps create a sense of unity, supports a positive learning environment, and ensures all students present themselves in a way that reflects our shared values. We appreciate whānau support in ensuring students adhere to the uniform requirements each day.


  • Year 9 and 10 students are required to wear the Māngere College Junior Uniform.
  • Year 11, 12 and 13 students are required to wear the Māngere College Senior Uniform.

Please allow up to 5 weeks for production of customised items. If your child’s size is not available online, contact Argyle Schoolwear as soon as possible to arrange a customised uniform.

Uniform Requirenments

Junior girls (Year 9 - 10)

  • Blue striped blouse
  • Checkered skirt/Navy shorts/Navy long pants

Senior girls (Year 11 - 13)

  • White short or long sleeved blouse
  • Short or long Navy skirt/Navy shorts/Navy long pants
  • Tie (seniors only)

Junior boys (Year 9 - 10)

  • Blue striped shirt
  • Navy shorts/Navy long pants

Senior boys (Year 11 - 13)

  • White short or long sleeved shirt
  • Navy shorts/Navy long pants
  • Tie (seniors only)

ALL YEARS

  • Jerseys, Vests, Jackets, Parkas, Beanies, Bucket hats and scarves - are optional parts of the uniform for all years
  • PE uniform Top - All years are expected to wear the school PE uniform Top.  Students may wear their personal shorts in black or navy
  • Students are not permitted to wear non-uniform items at school - see Deans for any questions
  • Socks - Long or short in Black, White or Navy
  • Stockings - Black, Beige, Navy
  • Shoes must be either roman sandals (worn without socks) or plain black lace-ups.
  • No sports shoes or basketball boots to be worn.
